Here I am, faced with a daunting and intimidating blank page. Ironically enough, this is how most of my art begins, an empty sheet of paper or canvas to fill and create something I can honestly be pleased with. My ideas continually stem from inspiration, living my daily life is surplus to the imagination. Sure, still life drawings are the root to knowledge of correct perspective and spatial use, but to me art should go deeper. Art should encompass the very being and mind of an artist; the eyes of an artist must constantly be open to their surroundings.

My work has much to do with lucky mistakes. I tend to experiment with materials blending them to create something aesthetically pleasing to myself. My art is such that it must be taken to each and owns perspective.

Much of my inspiration comes from nature such as trees, birds and the varying sky and hand gestures. Integrating these objects within design and unnatural atmospheres for each intrigues me. I enjoy opposites.

Frankly I have no idea what to write, my art just happens. I would appreciate however, for whoever the viewer might be to really look and examine for you what my work might signify. All I can say is enjoy!
